I promise that I have several things that I've been working on getting posted to the site. Ask Gray, there are 2 drafts sitting in the queue waiting for my lazy ass to finish them. One of the other things I've been working on is short, "insightful" season previews for as many teams as possible. But the season is drawing nearer and the Sharks one is my priority so that might not happen.
However, one of the things I wanted to have is a small little competition between Gray, my younger brother and myself to see who could best predict the finishes in both conferences. Chances are very good that we will be wildly inaccurate but it is fun to try. I haven't decided the best way to determine who does the best, but we can cross that bridge when the end of the season comes. Below are all three of our predictions, keeping in mind that the predictions were made before the European leg of the NHL season was played. Would either you or Geoff want to change your Tampa Bay predictions after this weekend? His #1 Tampa Bay prediction is the only one that shocked me but he made up for it by offering my favorite West prediction of the three. I started making mental notes of my critiques, but then it just sounded mean and pointless because there’s no way I’d do any better than a shot in the dark either. I applaud your predictions. Very courageous.
I'm pretty sure my comment to his Tampa worst-to-first pick was "Seriously? On purpose?" Then again my brother's current favorite Shark is Alexi Seminov so take his opinion as you will.
